Our democracy is broken... Help us to fix it

This is not just another pro-proportional representation (PR) site, we offer a radical new alternative to the first past the post system (FPPS) used in the UK.

PR wont work under the current system because a "fairer" system of sharing the number of seats in parliament will mean

• more voices clammering to be heard,
• more contention,
• more endless debates without resolution,
• (and ultimately) less decision making.

We need a system that gives real power into the hands of the electorate. A system where we control what the politicians do, rather than the system we have where we decide who gets to dictate to us for the next 5 years.

What we are suggesting is:

• Votes for policies, not for parties
• Vote for MPs who represent our views, not their parties
• Vote for a real say in what happens in Westminster
